OK, my adwords campaigns have been running for years. I have Hawaii and Alaska excluded but the rest of the U.S. is showing ads. However, I find it way to coincidental that when I receive internet orders via my adwords campaigns that in a snigle day I may have 10 orders from California and maybe 1 order elsewhere. Then on another day, 18 orders from Iowa and 1 or 2 elsewhere. This pattern is seen almost everyday and is never scattered across the entire U.S. It seems that Google shows my ads to its own selective areas one day then changes the next day. Is there any truth to this? Any way I can stop this crap? Many thanks in advance. -Tony
you can set that in your adwords account, however if you aren't away of it you probably didnt set it up It just might be your keywords perform better in those regions?
yes I am aware of the regional settings. The ads are set to serve the entire continental U.S. But why do I get specific sales daily to only certain states? Way too coincidental. And these states vary day by day. One day all California sales, another day all pennsylvania sales, etc...
Why not email them and ask them? Also, get Statcounter installed on your website and you can track where all visits are coming from, not just sales.
Wow I just posted a tread about this. I'm definately noticing sales that are suspect to regional viewings and I think its BS. I recently launched a retail home air filter site, and I've been yieldind sales from specific regions day to day. But I have been bouncing around the US so I know that its not my keyword preformance
