Why do Muslims convert other people to Muslims

Can't you come up with a better name than that? You can't convert to Islam and choose a name that sounds like a complete homo.

But why would a Muslim promote porn? I wouldn't know as I'm not a Muslim. I honestly have limited knowledge about Islam so any answers would be appreciated and as far as I know, it is considered as blasphemy, right?

 

I'm not sure blasphemy is the right word but it is definitely haram. As has been mentioned by several of my fellow Muslims on this thread, most countries with a heavy Muslim population have outlawed porn. If you've been following this story Menj, who posts as his wife Awinjsclarke on this forum, operates a porn site called XXXDirectory.net. I'm pretty sure it carries a heavy criminal penalty in Malysia where he lives. Rob has produced evidence from a variety of sources linking him in no uncertain terms to the purchase and the operation of the site, and yet Menj continues to proclaim he is a good Muslim and has even fooled a few of my fellow Muslims into promoting some of his other sites focused on more Islamic topics.

In my opinion, he is worse than a Kafir. It is not like he never had knowledge of Islamic teachings. He is aware of them and has purposefully chosen to promote this filth while openly claiming he is a Muslim. Given some of the more radical content I've seen him put to print, he is the kind of Muslim the Islamic community could do without.

Maybe Menj is a liberated Muslim? I wouldn't know for sure but I'm quite sure that porn is not something Muslims would really be open about.

MENJ. He's an orthodox Muslim who wants all women to move around in tents while he's promoting tits and asses at the same time. Hypocrite.

 

I consider myself a modern Muslim. The question is one of hypocrisy. He has lied repetitively on this forum about his involvement with the porn business, despite rock solid evidence to the contrary. If you are a Muslim who embraces pornography, be up front about it. Don't preach traditional conservative Muslim values and peddle porn at the same time. If you dig through the threads, you will find evidence showing it is likely he is also involved in selling stolen credit card information as payback for perceived offenses to Islam. The man is a liar and a thief. If I lived in Malaysia, I would report him to the authorities, as his activities are against the law there.

 

It' never happen that Muslim's force the non-Muslims to accept the religion. It's just that they share ideas with the non-Muslims and if then people makes their own decision of moving in to Islam.

 

If you go on and ask a Muslim, they would say the same for Christians as well. Even Christians preach the gospel and try to bring people closer to God in their own way. Forcible conversion is wrong, but it's fine as long as you preach Gospel, and bring somebody closer to God.

 

I have to agree. As a recent convert, I'm really perplexed by the level of freedom of sexual expression and the found anti-antihypocrisy I feel.
