In our opinion most fail because the don't build a list.
List building should be your number one priority in the
    beginning.
    No list, No sales.

So if a webmaster doesn't have a list, he won't be successful?

    Well, ok, then.

Huh. And all this time I thought it was with advertising and word of mouth.

A couple of more reasons why so many fail, if it hasn't been mentioned already, is because they are stupid, and or they are looking for "free methods."

alot of people fail because they give up after they don't see immediate results, it takes patience to succeed and it won't happen over night

50% of then do nothing. They just think they can easily do the stuff but fail to take action. Its better to make a mistake than do nothing. We have to understand that to earn xx amount of money xx amount of hard work has to be put in which will take xx amount of time irrespective of what you do. Nothing is easy and free.

I believe that creativity is the first key, and execution is the second. To be a successfull marketer, you have to create your marketing plan, and execute it well. They even have a single book talking about execution.

um, that is all bullshit. They fail because of over saturation of the thing they are trying to make money at.

Yes I would agree on all four of your points, there is also
the point that none will take action on even any product
that they buy they could start off with it and get confused
straight away without even giving it a chance.

Alot of newbies want money quickly and if they dont see
results within a week or a day then they think its no
    longer worth persuing.

Inability to work on their own, including too heavy a reliance on other marketers

Lack of Focus I agree with completely

Giving up when it gets tough

Not being smart enough to adapt
