    Why Do More than 95% Of Marketers Fail?

    To me, I believe that the cause of the failure is as follows:

    1 Impatience

    2 Lack of knowledge and creativity

    3 Lack of Focus

    4 No determination

    Dishonesty with themselves.

    So many times people pad their own business plan or ignore obvious risks which causes them to waste a lot of money on easy marketing techniques that if they really crunched the numbers, they would know were not viable.

    As for me I think that one of the main reason is inability to study every day. Many educated specialists are so proud of themselves that they start believing that they know everything.

    By the way, do 95% of marketers really fail. I wouold be interested in the data that shows that high percentage (survey, study, etc).

    If you asked me I would definately put the number over 50% but not that high (Just my opinion)

    Personally, Marketers fail because they just jump into the business without knowledge, as well don't know how to find their clients. More specfically, they don't know how to get the potential clients business.

    Under capitalization, lack of financial resources or sufficient marketing budget, no matter what they say, unless you get a really unique idea it will take you money to make money.

    Lazy - A lot of people today are just to lazy. They want everything hand fed to them on a plate.

    No Money - Lets face it if you really want success you need money to put into your business. Most people simply lack the funds to invest into a serious business. If they go the free route then kicks in the lazy part. They find it to hard and to time consuming and give up.

    Not Enough Time - I see it all the time. People join something and they think they will have the time to work the business. In about 1 month they find out that they actually don't have the time to put in like they thought they would so they simply stop.

    agree that #1 lazy #2 no money although you don't necessarily need money just depends on how many credit based lists and time you put in and using common sense or freelance sites, forums etc you know about etc 3. to much hyped up junk marketer joins or buys several ebooks only to find most methods are either outdated oversturated or the person selling the product has only 1 thing in mind their bottom line.

    I completely agree! In fact I recently posted a blog post that was very similar to this as well. I would also probably put in "fear of failure" due to the fact that many Internet Marketers are afraid of trial and error because they can't stand failing which I guess ties in with #1 "impatience" as well.

    I also believe that many fail because they don't believe that they can succeed. They lack the will to see their goals through due to the fact that they don't believe that they can - of which can be tied in to lack of focus and no determination.

    Great concept to think about!

    I'd say it's the disappointment that sets in after marketers don't make $1 million in 24 hours (as they were promised by so many hucksters)

    They fail because they don't have patience, it is that simple. The numbers are probably near 60%, but not anywhere near 95/100 people will fail.
