why do money making program want you to know their secrets

i don't get this, you have a person that creates a program that supposedly will make you rich or that you'll make thousand using it.so if that's true why would i want others to know about it, to me it works the same way as if theirs to much of something so it will cost cheaper, so if everyone knows the secret and everyone is making money then their wont be any money left to make from using the secret. maybe im missing something here.

 

they make such programs to sell their ideas for getting even more money. for example they sell their ebook, audiobook, cds, dvds etc for some price, by selling more they can get revenue from this.
