Why do internet marketing gurus ramble so much?

I decided to just pay $1 for dotcomsecrets.com as a 30 day trial. in the webinar he kept going on and on.

do they just not have many worthwhile things to say or something? this is my first time actually purchasing a course still, in the introduction video he fit the stereotype of other gurus - putting down other gurus, making his course seem unique, and repeating himself over and over.

    They sell their services
    to the target audience.

    The spell must be repeated
    many times in simple words.

    Then you would remember it,
and you ask someone about it,
and you place the name of
    their site on some forum.

    Thus their sales
    spell is working.

    You should learn
    from these gurus.

Say something 7 times and someone will remember it. Or it might be 3. Whatever the case may be, repetition leads to conditioning which leads to behavior modification.

If the "guru" doesn't know too much, he will ramble on and on and use what he thinks is the latest industrial jargon to try to impress clients.

Some of the biggest scammers in SEO are the ones who act way too professional. This is a relatively new industry and to approach it with that obnoxious New York Office mentality clearly shows who's selling snake oil and operating with smoke and mirrors.

I mean, think about the experience you had with that webinar. $1 for the rambling. What will $10 get you? $100? $1000? intense rambing increasing in orders of magnitude.

I think it depends on the person. I've been on webinars where there has been no fluff, no bs, and great content.

What most gurus in Internet Marketing do is a simple repackaging of common sense, unbelievably overpriced.

Honestly I think it has to do more with persuading you, telling you stories, NLP, etc. Yea most of em ramble too much, especially about themselves...I can't stand that!

They just try to disguise the BS and make themselves look credible. The more they do that, the bigger fraud they are.

I really don't know how they do that man. On one hand I have to commend them on their usually excellently recorded and scripted presentations, but like you said they go on forever...and there are multiple ones. Thing is they're usually really engaging and I always want to watch the next one, but it's like they're just filled with phrases of anticipation, never really telling you anything. At the end of a one hour presentation, for most of the internet marketing gurus out there you can honestly say you walked away with absolutely nothing you can use or implement. Personally, I couldn't do that. I hate wasting my time and the time of others. I've made a few presentations myself, where I spell out exactly step-by-step how to make money exactly how I do, how to get everything set up on complete autopilot, and people even bash me. I'm like, geez, I just gave you an exact formula form making money, this isn't like those niche site products that say pick a niche, hopefully it will be a good one, if not spend some more money and try again. No, these are presentations that say do this and you WILL have the same results as me...guaranteed. I do my best to help others succeed, but I can only help the ones who want to be helped.

I've spent a lot of money, but fortunately, finally, I have found a few opportunities that have been working extremely well for me. If you're interested, please PM me and I'll be happy to help you.
