Why do I only have 1 or 2 clicks.

So I have had people tell me that they have been to my blogs and clicked the google adds. Yet, I can not get enough clicks to make a difference. I started off and I got $0.33 for one month (Whoo-hoo!) BUT, the other months, $0. I have been getting clicks on the adds but it is not enough. What is up with that? Any understanding on this would be appreciated.

The way you placed your ads is important(your ads not perfectly placed for clicks..) and furthr the thing is what niche your blog is... that's too hold importance ... Your blog alexa ranking 20,658,034 shows almost nil traffic so u get only few clicks... thats luck you getting few clicks... give it your quality time then talk about it.. have a nice day!!!!

I think you should use high paying niche instead of low paying niche, Add unique contents and try to get some back links that will help you more..

 

You should try to get more traffic and place your ads properly so it looks natural and click-able. You traffic is very few Alexa 2 million is not good traffic.

 

Regular traffic will solve your problem and SEO is the only medicine.

 

If people are intentionally clicking your ads (which it sounds like), they would be invalid clicks, and Google may not be counting them. Ideally you don't want anyone you know personally to click on your ads - which means that you need more traffic. Your stat counter says you've only had 46 visitors, and that's not nearly enough to make any significant earnings.

 

Your niche has no competition so you are probably receiving like 0.02 cents per click.

Once again my blog is igotanich.blogspot.com and thanks Nonny and Timeless for the helpful information. I never thought of that. The funny thing was that I checked it tonight and I made $0.54. I am in the money now.

It's not allowed to add your own advertising on free wordpress.com blogs. You could get your own domain, then use Wordpress to blog.
