Why Do I Not See My Blog Post When I Do Intitle Search?

I have a Wordpress blog, my first, that is about a month old. I have a static home page that is a review of the main product I am promoting, and then I do my blog posts on a separate page.

My home page is showing up in the search results on page two when I search the name of the product. I have made eight blog posts. I saw a couple of my posts on page two and page five of search results for the keywords I was targeting, but it was only there for a week or so and now have disappeared.
None of my blog posts are showing up now in search results, only my home page. Someone said it might be due to Google "honeymoon" syndrome.

I am indexed on Google. In fact, my posts get indexed almost immediately. When I do an intitle:"XXXX" search for the title of my blog posts, they're not listed. When I do an intitle search for the title of my home page, it shows up in the search results.

Since they're indexed, why would my blog posts at least not be showing up when I do an intitle search for the title of that blog?

    Thanks

I have one simple answer: backlinks

It is easy to create backlinks to static page compared to blog post. Usually, blogpost will get good ranking for short period of time before hidden in the cloud. If you want to increase SERP ranking for this blogpost too, try building some quality backlinks to that particular blog post as well.

Personally, I suggest you to build more unique relevant contents that will get top ranking for short period of time. In long run, you may build some organic backlinks too.

So that I understand what you're saying, unless I take the time to build numerous backlinks to each blog post, my posts will only rank for a short period of time and then disappear?

I'm starting to think that taking the route of blogging was the wrong thing to do. Maybe I'm just not understanding the concept behind it. I thought the whole point was getting the blog posts to rank in the search results, but I couldn't possibly have time to build more than one or two links to each post.

I have been marketing using mini sites and Adwords, but with the recent Adwords attack on affiliates, I decided to try to build something that was more long-term and try to get some generic traffic. Maybe I've chosen the wrong thing.

Do you have any opportunity to look at the google cache?
    Do you use any sitemap?

Yes, I do have the XML Sitemap. Sorry for my ignorance, but this is the first time I've heard of "Google Cache". I did a search on it to see what it was and I see where to click on it when my site comes up in the search results, but I'm not understanding what the significance is. Could you please explain? Sorry!!
