Why do I like Google better than Yahoo/MSN?

    Simple:

Google just unbanned me earlier this month, didn't even start sending Googlebot until about two weeks ago, and even so I'm hopelessly stuck in the sandbox.

Meanwhile, Yahoo and MSN indexed me 3 months ago and has me either at the very top, or at THE top of all their SERPs.

As of August 24, and for the month of August, the referrals from Google has surpassed the referrals for MSN and Yahoo COMBINED.

    I'm just saying...

Yeah, when it really comes down to it big G is rather hard to beat (at least for the moment...) :)

Have to disagree somewhat here. The number of visitors is much higher from Google yes, but the actual sales I get are much less. Meaning the conversion from MSN is 4 times higher, Yahoo used to be 4 times higher as well, but they removed my site from the index...

btw market is hotel reservations. Makes a difference as more housewives are booking travel trips and are using msn/yahoo, amongst other things.

Well, because when I go to Google.com I get exactly what I need... a search engine.

That may change though as it looks more and more like G is trying to become a Yahoo/MSN style SE.

I agree. I've been tracking my hostel and rail pass bookings as well as Amazon sales and it does indeed seem that Yahoo/MSN traffic is far more likely to spend.
