Why do I keep getting logged out?

Why do I keep getting logged out? I'll be typing away at a long post, and when I click on the submit button, I am asked to log in again. When I go back to my post, it is gone and I have to start over again.

I assume that typing is considered to be 'no activity'. I checked the times and it seems I'm getting logged out at around 10 minutes from my last activity. That seems really short to me. I've looked around my profile, but if there is a place to change this, I can't find it.

So, why am I being logged out (typing really fast so it doesn't happen again).

Just click the "Remember Me" box the next time you log in and you will stay logged in until you log out your self. But you will be logged out if you close your browser but will also be logged in the next time you visit DP.

LOL, Thanks, I didn't know how to avoid the "auto logout" feature, when that "Remember Me" check box was always there.

    I didn't see those threads "below" ...
