Why do I have to sign up ?

    to Google Adwords to use Analytics.... ? Once you sign up for adwords do you have to make ad campain ?

    You dont have to have an Adwords account to use Google Analytics.

    Really? I was of the understanding you could just analyse your sites traffic and how visitors navigated your site.

    Google is a make-money company.

    They created Analytics to attract site-owners to sign new Adwords accounts and try it.

    As an FYI, you can sign up for AdWords for free, and so long as you don't activate your account, it remains free. I believe that signing up alone allows you access to the full suite of tools.

    Yes I thought so too ... it would be reasonable ;) ... will try later and dive into analytics world ... don't know how exactly will help me .... but worth a try I believe
