Why Do I have Such a Bad CTR

Right now I have a click through rate of barely 0.2%.

How can I improve my ad placement to encourage a better CTR?

Your ad placement is not the best, I would move your ads to the top right of your blog and split them in two columns. I have had better success with this. How many UV per day?

 

Bad CTR majority is due to non-targeted traffic, what is your major traffic source?

 

Test it, each position and monitoring daily .

ill located and doesn't look like there are many advertizers in this niche. I might be wrong because I'm not in the US, but here in thailand all ads I see on your blog are unrelated to paintball.

 

i heard that crap blogspots don't make much money from adsense these days

 

I used to get clicks as high as 10% back in the day, I would put my ads right before my article started but I don't know if google still allows that these days.

 

You need to slip test your page layout with different ads combination and stick to the one which makes gets you a high CTR.
