Well, just wanted to say why I do hate ses conferences, I have been doing seo for 1+ year, and when I heard about SES conferenes I started collecting money to be at it. But some time ago I read their site and it said: "No one under 18 admitted, including infants and toddlers." So.. I am currently 17 why i can't go? I am confident enough to say that I know more seo than some people that will attend it (not all, I don't mean that I am the best seo or shit like that.. just wanted to point that anyone can go.. and I do know seo and can't)... I think this should be changed, what is wrong with people under 18 attending it? Just my opinion
Well, there are many reasons for the age requirement...primarily liability reasons. Being a minor many things could possibly happen to you and the event organizers can held liable. Don't be a hater man.
You surely have emailed the organizers of the SES conference and stated your case, right ...? Not to state the obvious, but contacting the SES organizers directly may prove more effective than posting on a discussion group that they possibly/probably never read. They're business-people and, I'd bet, will appreciate your attendence.
