God gave that land to Israel after He drove them out of Egypt with the condition that they had to obey His laws. They disobeyed Him, and as a punishment they lost their country. In addition to their bad Karma of disobedience they didn't accept Jesus as the Messiah, and they never till these days have accepted His teaching of "Love one another; love your enemies as a teaching from God". Till these days they/the Jews believe Jesus was rightfully crucified as being an imposter. Their religious elders of that time were afraid that Jesus would take their powers away from them so He/Jesus became a great inconvenience to them that it had to be removed by any means including killing him. Their elders pushed the Roman authorities to crucify Him and they succeeded, and as a result of that crime (bad Karma) they were scattered all over the world. IMO, I believe the establishment of Israel by force was not the will of God. If Israel was supposed to be reestablished it was supposed to be through peaceful meanings in a Christian non violent way, not through bloody violence. .... Jesus Christ as I mentioned before brought a Divine teaching of Love and non violence. So it would be completely illogical to accept, that God has allowed the Jews to use violence against the Palestinians so they can be driven away from their homes in order for the Jews to establish their own country - Israel. Jesus Christ Himself didn't take part 2,000 years ago in any act of violence (except when He drove out the traders from the Temple of God if that can be considered act of violence) nor did He encourage the creation of Israel through violence. IMO there will be no peace in the Middle East till the Jews in Israel and probably around the world accept and apply the Divine Teaching that Jesus Christ delivered. Just my opinion from my Christian point of view.
I think it is up to God to decide what Gods will is. I don't think it is proper for a Christian to be guessing what God would want, but I was taught something similar to what you are saying in church. That the Jews did not follow the laws and were punished for it. That was one of the many reasons I am no longer Christian. What sort of God would behave so tragically human? I can relate to your belief that not recognizing Jesus as the son of God is a sin too, but I personally side with the idea of a non-divine messiah. A leader blessed by God but not God in any way shape or form. And in Judaism to worship any sort of image of God is a sin, isn't a man an image? A symbolic representation of something that is supposed to be unseen? I thought the Bible says to look upon the face of God is to be no more? Like I said I am not a Christian anymore so I am a bit rusty on Christian theology but what you are saying just seems so flawed to me.
Your "Christian" point of view? Are you catholic? True christians don't hate Jews. (Catholics jew hater examples: Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels, Goering, Mel Gibson) True Christians do not blame anyone for Jesus' death. Israel is defending themselves from deadly rocket attacks that Hamas started. The Jordanians who pretend to be "palestinians" (there hasn't been a Palestine country for almost 3,000 years since 732 BC) should go back to Jordan. HOWEVER, if you remember Black September, the Jordanian King Hussein, destroyed the Palestinian Jordanians and forced them out of the country. If the muslims truly wanted peace, they would of setup a "palestinian/jordanian" relief fund, and helped evacuate the palestinians. Instead they view themselves as pioneers trying to "retake the Holy Land". True Christians wouldn't side against God's children. You do realize David, Moses, etc. beheaded thousands of their enemies. Do you think God is a sissy? Neither the Jews nor Muslims are sissy. As a Christian, you are not be sissy either. Jesus said to carry a "sword and cloak". Not to start violence of course, but to defend yourself if you have to. If a government threatens your life, an enemy threatens your family, you are to defend yourself, heroically, of course. As Israel is doing now. Sure there are evil leaders ON BOTH sides, manipulating the conflict. Such is the nature of the world until the end. If you want conflict resolution, look somewhere else. That ain't happening. This is the fulfillment of the prophecies. The only time peace will come, it will come from the Anti-christian false prophet. Hint: he wears robes of white, claims to be "holy" and claims power to forgive sins (the two definitions of blasphemy), and he currently has 1.2 billion worshippers and his official title is the "representative of Christ".
Yeah the end times self fulfilling prophecy is another reason I am no longer a Christian. If enough people are looking for signs they will make them appear and the next thing you know someone is yelling Holy War.
Nothing can happen but by Allah's will. This topic need details, but just if you forbear a little bit, you will find what would be logically accepted.
Is it true that from Christian point of view that , Coming of Jesus and of the end of the world is related to sign of the fig tree , fig tree represented Israel .. restoration of israel ?
Where did I say "I hate Jews"? "......... True Christians wouldn't side against God's children......." This is the huge mistake they taught you that "some people are children of God others are not." And then when your priest convince you that you are a child of God, but others are not, you start believing that you are somewhat superior to others.... Ha, ha, ..... ALL PEOPLE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD!!! You should have been taught that in your church. Just read carefully the "Father's prayer", which starts with "Our Father in Heaven....." A lot of priests interpret it the way it fits their churches, but the true meaning is that human kind has one Father and it is God. Everything else is just misunderstanding ... If you guys think that the "Jews" are somewhat special and deserve "special" treatment you have the right to think whatever you like. But that belief has only one thing in its root "to benefit a certain group of people" on the expense of others. There are lots of priests that preach Christianity with putting the Jews as somewhat "chosen" and as such they should be always favored. Guess what, they are misunderstanding the Bible.... God is the only Master; there are no chosen people to rule over other people for personal material benefits. There are chosen people by God, but they are chosen to work for the others, and to help them, not to rule over them for personal material benefits. Just like Jesus Christ did and the apostles, who dedicated their lives for humanity. Not for their personal wellfare. Some of these priests I hear on the radio and I tend to believe that they are paid to preach twisted Christianity..... And because of that twisted Christianity that has been preached for years, the US has built up tremendous hatred..... That needs to be changed or US will lose more and more. God won't give His blessing to Nations who disobey His laws. Make no mistakes here, you can trick people, brainwash them, but you'll never trick God. Believe in whatever you like IMO, Israel is committing war crimes and the US is supporting her ..... The bad Karma for the criminal war in Iraq hit America ..... all bills get paid one day. In about 15 years America may well lose its status as a super power if she continues to behave like that. China, India, Russia are much fairer to others than US ..... And since I didn't agree with some I probably will be branded as anti-semitist, which of course I am not, in the meantime I won't twist Christianity as I know it to make this or that person feel good.
You and me have different beliefs, but I agree with some of what you said, there are also many Jews who have similar opinion, and even some of the first Zionists who planned for this project to steal Palestine, agree too, Ahad Ha'Am is one who said: "Apart from the political danger, I can't put up with the idea that our brethren are morally capable of behaving in such a way to humans of another people, and unwittingly the thought comes to my mind: if it is so now, what will be our relation to the others if in truth we shall achieve at the end of times power in Eretz Yisrael? And if this be the Messiah: I do not wish to see his coming."
I can't believe people actually believe this religious nonsense. Such foolishness and hatred. Atheism all the way... or at least buddhism.
I am not aware of any end of the world coming soon. It is up to God to decide how and when it will end up. IMO first the God's law must be applied on Earth and we are far, far away from it. The law of Love each other and love your enemies first must be applied and as you can see it will take quite strong of a person to apply it in his daily life. Some priests try to predict things, interprete the Bible where America and Israel on the right side of the picture and many other countries are painted as "Evil". But the majority of people around the world sees who's the good guy and who's the bad one. I don't see how God is going to be always giving His Blessing to "evildoers". God Gave His Blessing to America because it was one of the first countries in the world to give so many freedoms to her citizens....., But with this extremly selfish behavior, looks like America is losing His good will. It is impossible to go against the will of God and be successful in the long run.
you think Christianity would bring peace to the world lol lol. Actually if every one convert to Buddhism, then there would be peace. and Israel was created because of the hatred of the Jews by Christians. anyway I think Jewish people should had converted to Islam or Christianity long time ago, there are both the same BS. if you live in a country which the majority of the people are Christian or Muslim, you have to convert to that religion. And especially when those two religion are discriminating(mostly Christians) against you.
If you look at Bush and what he did and think about Christianity, I would agree with you. Most Christians you know really don't practice Christianity, because they don't know what it is about.
