    I wish the reason was because they really wanted to love kids and couldnt have them or didnt have the time to have kids themselfs and such. But in most cases its for the press. Bummer for those kids really, yeah they may get a bunch of money but more then likely they will turn out having messed up lives which is a shame.

    In actuality, we don't know why ANYONE adopts children. We can hypothesize all we want, but ultimately - who cares? We should hope that all children (adopted or not, the child of a celebrity or not) are provided the love and nurturing they need to thrive.

    It's plain and simple. We make an issue out of it simply because they're celebrities. If a non-celebrity adopts a child from Africa or Cambodia, nobody really cares.

    I agree, its about the kids not the celebs who adobt. And yeah a couple turn out good but not as many as you would hope.
