Ok recently after reading humm's thread about his site getting copied and culprit being HTTrack software. For those who do not know what it is here is its link :
    http://www.httrack.com/

Guess what ? Just checked today stats for My Directory Rank , i know there are not many themes for that script but come on when will these shameless acts stop ? And why do they do it in the first place ?
How can we make sure someone is not able to copy our sites ? Cannot use php lock or other similar tools cause it makes it SERP enemy and hurts as code is all jumbled and i am sure bots look at the codes.

So,guys if you see copy of the site do let me know please. And do check your stats for such hits....

They are called copy cat for a reason? the answer lies in the question!!!

And copying other sites is not just something new but a problem for quite some time!!! I am not sure but stats are probably the best way to track them, since you already mentioned.... on the other hand an ultimate solution could be to let know the person who owns the site and on his negligence Hosting Company of the culprit is the ultimate solution which after being contacted and provided solid proof is for sure,or if not 18% chances are there they will take that site down;!!!
Best of luck and lets stop worrying~

If they are determined there is no way to stop them. They do it because its easy and its a lot faster than actually using their fingers to "create" something on their own.

Well that simply told you that you've done a good job on your site layout if people want to copy. :)

Is there a way to block HTTrack? I mean it seems to shows up as a Browser type, so can't you have a script that check the http header for HTTrack and deny access to that request? It that possible?
