Why do click payouts drop off?

I am sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. I will put up a page with adsense on it. The payout per click will be between 1-2 dollars and as the days go by the payouts get smaller and smaller to the point they are between 20-25 cents. The page never changes and the clicks are from the same countries and day time when I'm checking my reporting. I used to think maybe becuase of geo targetting and time targetting that clicks were coming when the high paying ads werent showing but I have been able to repeat this exact scenario many times. To prove it I have changed the name of the page and the article in it and the clicks go back up to 1-2$ per click lol.

Is this part of the adsense bot rating my page and basing the payouts on page content or layout etc?

 

you consider 20-25 cents a little ammount ?

hope you dont get what i sometime get 1-3 cents !!

 

Once I put in the adsense blacklist I rarely see anything under 15 cents a click.

I knew about adwords smart pricing but wasnt aware of adsense wasnt cinluded in that thx.

 

my average per click is under 10 cents. Usually it goes upto 5 cents.
20 to 30 cents/click is great.

 

Does it mean you get low CTR= high CPC?
vice versa?

 

Hey for me they are 0.025c / click , thats terrible .
