Dear members, This is one trend I observed while searching for legitimate websites that are specific to a niche or service. But whatever be the search query, lately I have been observing the top few results flooded with general craigslist kinda websites like Quickr, Olx etc ranking top for almost everything (sometime even if there isnt such a page, they dynamically create a page (may be a volatile page) based on the search query keyword. on the flipside, I get genuine websites on bing or yahoo rather than classifieds ads listings.. any thoughts on the same? regards Josh
Perhaps it's due to a recent change in Google's Search algorithms? Google is always tweaking things and releasing new updates. If you are seeing results like this, Google is probably aware of it as well. Ranking seems to be an ever changing thing.
Very true. Google made an EMD (Exact Match Domain) update and that resulted in many legit websites go down the drain and a non-related domain name became and advantage overnight!
