Why do Adsense Gurus Do Not Use Adsense?

I am very frustrated, I add quality unique content to my websites every day, hundreds of people read my stuff and still I can not grow my adsense income, I get more and more traffic every day because I promote my sites a lot and my revenue stays the same.

I have been doing this for over a year and I see no results.

Now here is my real question, why do all Adsense Gurus do not use Adsense, am I missing something here?

They all talk about how they make money online but I see their sites and they never put adsense, for example J ohn C how, S hoemoney, Z ac J honson etc.

I do not get it, I have tried adding affiliate banners and people do not click on them.

What am I doing wrong? I have the traffic, great web design, quality unique content but my ad revenue sucks.

What can I do, should please help!!

You should try other forms of advertisements since PPC ads aren't working for you.
CPM sounds like the right fit for you.

Without knowing anything about ad placement and ad relevancy, it is hard to assess your situation.

Just because they say they are a guru does not make them one. Many of the self-proclaimed gurus did not ever get rich off Adsense. They got rich of the eBooks they sell that say they got rich off Adsense.

You are probably hitting a plateau in your keyword niche ? Try to focus on something a little different to drive some traffic - more information on your site will enable others to provide you with better suggestion (PM me if you want to).

Good luck with your site - dont give up !

What your content? Maybe a change of theme.

It is an art and science and many many trials and errors.

    I can explain.
The point of adsense is to get people to leave your site. If they are reading your content they are not clicking on your ads. Its that simple.

    Thanks Surf Dude.

I really can't believe that people think all those "Adsense Gurus" are actually telling the truth!

Just play on high paying keywords and improve on ad placement.
With doing this you'll get a result significantly.

First of all you don't have to add adsense advertisements in all your websites. All the gurus most probable have other tens or even hundreds of mini niche sites where they have implemented adsense whereas on their personal blogs they wouldn't add adsense , its plain simple!

I think some of it is from astounding traffic that they hustled methodically and inexpesively by working long hard hours in their adwords campaigns ;)

Adsense gurus got rich on bridge networks. They would buy cheap long tail keyword traffic and filter it to sites with adsense on it with high paying keywords. They would pay 0.01 per click, but get paid around $1-$10x per a click on the other end and/or doing the same with affiliate payouts. They would pay 0.01 per click then sign people up to affiliate websites that pay out around 50%+. Other wise known as a AdBridge system.

Because they only put adsense on certain sites which they deem profitable or suitable to have it on. Most webmasters sites are visited by webmasters so it's natural for them to avoid having adsense over there

These "Guru's" that you listed still use adsense on sites that you're not aware are theirs. That being said, on high traffic sites, it's much more profitable to sell your own advertising space monthly than to earn pennies on the dollar by showing Adsense advertisements. Why let Google keep 50% or more of the money? Cut out the middle man and charge $500 a month for a 125x125 banner in your sidebar. If you have a site that's getting 5000+ UV's per day, you'd be ignorant not to sell advertising direct, or feature affiliate products where you make a hell of a lot more than $.04 per click. The big guys all started out with adsense..and on lower traffic sites, there's nothing wrong with using it.

Now if you have a decent amount of traffic (ie 1000+ UV's per day) and you're not earning $25-$40 per day, then you're either in a shitty niche or you just have implemented Adsense poorly and you need to do some A/B testing to see which ad placements work best on your site. I have a site in a game niche, of all things, that get's 1100 UV's a day, everyday. I make $20-$40 a day (depending on the daily ecpm). But I've tested my ads and I know what works and where. Keep in mind that Adsense isn't the perfect platform for every site. You might be better off featuring affiliate products. I don't know your niche or site so I can't comment intelligently on what would be best for your situation.

They use it on sites they do not publicize. Seriously are you going to attract attention to your real profit centers? No. Why? Because no matter what you do you will Piss someone off and that pissed off person makes it their job 24/7 to bring them grief and headaches. The same reason why Celebrities live behind gated houses and hire security personnel.

They have nothing to gain by exposing their adsense properties.

When you figure out that this is a business this will make sense to you.
