I have apply for the listing of my blogs in DMOZ. They are blogspot blogs and it seems that they are not accepts blogs.
Really? Here's a search showing 10000 blogspot blogs listed. (Search gives up at 10000 results. There are probably a lot more.)
<sigh> Oh yes we do. Try this search which shows 55 of them. I'd point out that most blogs are listed in a topic appropriate to their subject matter/focus. There are gazillions of blogs that don't have a focus of course, but they aren't of much use to anybody so they're unlikely to be listed.
How did you know that they were not accepted? Did you receive a mail from them, or had an error in submitting?
It takes sometimes months to get listed and many sites are turned down. It has nothing to do with the platform you chose. It often times has to do with who is editing and if they find any value ion your site. If it is a new site with very little post, they will not approve it most of the time.
I have still not yet received e-mail with whether it accepted or not. However I submitted my site more than a month ago.
We don't send them. You can work out for yourself whether or not a website is listable by checking it against the listability guidelines that the editors use. Some volunteer will volunteer to process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. Please be patient.
Then perhaps you would be better to use one of the many paid directories which offer a listing service. Unlike DMOZ, which is free and does not offer such a service, of course.
Umm, did you see the posts by jimnoble just above? He pointed out that there are at least 10,000 blogs already listed, in at least 55 blog-specific categories.
