I have noticed that when searching the same exact term, in this case mens swimwear
I get different results for the sites listed on google but the same number count of sites listed. Am I missing something or has it always been that a browser like safari will return a different list of sites when searching then firefox?

    Does anyone no why?

    Thanks

    Evrything counts

Even being on not being log in in google account .... or search history in the respective browser

Have in mind each detail counts ...

So it is very normal to see such diffrences ...

I am not agree with you. Some Google shows results from your history. If you search the same in three main browsers then you will find same results at least from two browsers.

Isn't this based on cookies and browser history? I think different results are displayed with IP, data centre etc in mind, so this can be affected with the browser you use. Not entirely sure though, although I've noticed the same thing.

Your browser can make a difference when just searching on the net from google.com, but not when using the google keyword tool.

Browsers have different settings and you do have control over most of them. You can control your cache settings and getting a new page every time, for example. Google chrome is the worst browser I have seen that automatically does what it wants to make you think that it is a fast browser. For example, I can download a 1mb file, save it, and then delete it. When I go to download the same flle, it is instantly there. In other words, it did not go back out to the site and download it again.

Google in general keeps a very good record of every keystroke you make, every website you visit, and what you clicked on when you got there. They know more about you than you do:p))
