I made two sales last night for the same product. One commission was $17.98, the other was $17.72. I know it's pocket change, but I was curious why there would be difference?
The second sale is probably from Britain. They have a tax on online sales which ClickBank has to pay, so you pay that tax. nadavs
Yeah, it really sucks. When I first got the sale from Britain I was sure the publisher lowered the commission, but my calculations could not match the new commissions. Today I got a second sale from Britain and I suddenly realized that I read somewhere about online sales tax. Also, the State of New York is planning to have an online sales tax starting June 1st, so be prepared. nadavs
So instead of adding tax to the product it is deducted. Oh well ... one more way to ding the aff, as if were not already paying taxes on our income.
Ah, I was starting to wonder why I had a few cents difference for 2 commissions I made. Guess it doesn't really matter since it's only a few cents.
