Why did this happen like this?

Right on the 2nd i made a sale for $60 which was then refunded on the 3rd.

but in my paychecks for the period ending on the 2nd it says that my payment net balance is minus $60.

Why have they included the refund when it was after the payment date and why have they not included the actual sale?

Going to try to clear things up.

Let's say the pay period lasts from week 1 till week 2.
The paycheck is calculated in week 3, and the payment is on week 4.

All the refunds that you get from week 2 until the paycheck is calculated in week 3 will be calculated onto your paycheck, even though the pay period has ended. So if you get refunds after the pay period ends, but before your payment is calculated, the refunds will be subtracted to from the paycheck, even though they occured after the pay period for which the paycheck is calculated

As far as my knowledge ,they include only when you are in bi-weekly(BW) payment .They won't do this in weekly payments(direct deposits).
