we did two backlinks in a article website, it should have two backlinks to my site. but ,we found there are 650 pcs backlink pointed to my site. that means that each article of this website pointed to my site. what is accurate reason? is it harm? of course, we know that this 650 backlinks will disappear after a short time.
It got included in some sort of 'recent articles' sidebar, which were on the template of all the pages. It won't do any harm, it's very common in sites that have a sidebar that features recent comments or posts or articles in the template - most of them which just be ignored by search engines for the purposes of their algorithm.
Without knowing the URL of the article and the backlinks you're talking about it's hard to say for sure. But it's likely what magda stated OR a combination of that and other autoblog type sites republishing your article on their sites.
yes it may be due to someone posting your article on his blog, and than his recent posts (in sidebar) would be showing it on whole blog, which make quite a few backlinks.
Can be several reasons, from sidebars to people who are posting your article (and let you keep the credit) on their site etc. Easiest way to know how and why is to analyze the backlinks..
Dennisb has given the best answer. Check out the article site that you submitted to. Some like articlebase also syndicates your article to 2 other directories. This gives you added exposure when your looking for backlinks. Do a check on them and see where they are coming from. SeoQuake toolbar for firefox is good for this.
It will not harm your website and the myth that backlink buying will harm your website is rubbish anyway. Otherwise we would buy backlinks for our competitors to get Google bitch slapped.
