Why did I get this message from Google Adsense?

I logged into my Adsense account today and had a message and was wondering why I got it. It's a violation warning about a site that is not mine and doesn't appear to be using my adsense code.
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

They already explained it pretty well here "AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on sites involved in the distribution of copyrighted materials. This includes hosting copyrighted files on your site, as well as providing links for or driving traffic to sites that contain copyrighted material."

You should consider yourself lucky that they did'nt disable your account.

But I don't know what I did. I don't own any sites that distribute copyrighted materials. I don't host any files either. So does that mean I have linked to a site that does? If so how can I find out what site it is?

I just checked all my sites and they are all still showing ads. The message mentions that they have disabled ad serving to the site.

no.. they didnt disable your account. they just block the ads from this page "http://linktelefilm.altervista.org/?page_id=4" you better check out this page or in 3 days they will disable the whole domain or will disable your account eventually.

and by the way....you are lucky...alot of d/l links on your site

But I don't own that site and I viewed the source code for that page and the adsense code on that site and it's not using my publisher id or anything.

there is an option in the adsense account which you can set :)

just list all your domains in there and deny other sites to display your adsense ads

Then it will be much more easy to settle, just email to adsense team and tell them this is not your website

I got the message on the Adsense site.

Thanks every one for your input. I just sent a request to Google and I have changed my account to the allowed sites option and added my list of sites. Hopefully this works or I get a reply from G.
    Thanks every one.
