according to wikipedia web 2.0 is just an evolution in websites.. I didnt found wikipedia stating that "this is web 2.0 style logo and this is not.. " Then why designers here claiming to build web 2.0 style banners/logos. As far as i understand.. it has nothing to do with graphics.. correct me if iam wrong
Most designers dont build web 2.0 most dont even come close they just say that cuz they think they can , web2.0 is a new look, its like music theres country and there is hip hop.
Thanks for your comments buddy.. +repped. But still, O Reilly just stated new trends in websites such as Rss, podcasts, comunity websites as Web 2.0.. Then what do designers mean by "WEB 2.0 style logo".. I just want a designer to put a company logo in this thread which is so called "Web 2.0 Style" and another logo which is so called "Simple Web 1.0 Style"
thats some what understandable.. So there is any border line between web 2.0 logos and old simple web logos.. Like i say.. the Digital Point logo is web 2.0 yes or no?.. If yes why? and if not.. then why not?
The DP logo is no where near Web 2.0.. Basically: If it looks shiney and glossy like candy, its WEB 2.0!! these logos also take SECONDS to make !!!
the simple concert is keep is simple and add some reflection and bright colors and thats all, you can say that you have a web2.0 banner or logo. i think web 2.0 is more about website that are useful and interactive with visitors, just like meebo.com and smartpagerank.com
