Why CPM Goes Up And Down

This is probably not a great question... However, it seems to perplex me.

Has anyone noticed a relationship between how often you update your page and CPM? Does you CPM go up if you update more frequently? Just curious if anyone has noticed such a relationship.

    Thanks.

I am sure this would be entirely behavioural but yes, it does make sense.

For example imagine one day you did a Google search and found the ads on the left side. This change would cause you to look at them.

Is this what you are talking about?

People tend to visit their page a lot when they're updating...to see if it looks okay online, so this gives more impressions than you would usually get....thus it easily could effect some of the metrics.

I don't put a whole lot of merit in some of the stats I see other than the total $, because I've seen some crazy other numbers before.
