i barely have any conversions, and i have had 10 cents referrals (and weird enough, now i had a firefox conversion of $0.00), just wondering why someone installing firefox in Argentina (India, Mexico, etc) worths 10 cents and someone in USA worths $1 dollar, just curious.
probably advertisers in argentina aren't paying as much for clicks and that funnels down to installs?
I'm not sure why, but I wouldn't bother with countries that are like this if this is the case. I would: Host your site in the USA Make sure it is a .com domain Make sure it is in english Make sure is doesn't target the low paying ad countries/market
It's depends of the referal location not where you're site is hosted, the tld or the language. What do you mean exactly, it's doesn't worth to write good content for poor countries ???
I'm also from argentina, and i never came up to my mind to even do conent in spanish. The conversion is very low, plus aquisition power is low also so people tends to click less on the ads. I can't imagine why firefox pays so low while (at least for me) in the adsense account shows that it worths $1.
People, as Monty has said the referral revenue differs according to the location of the visitor and not where your site is hosted or what language it is in. The Google help on this topic says "up to $1" - it doesn't say you *will get $1 everytime*.
