Why Content is King for SEO?

Content helps you
1. Get the traffic...
2. Retain the traffic... and
3. Perform specific action after reading the content (which is prime motive of any website or SEO)

It helps you in the complete cycle of a website visitor... and hence is referred as KING

 

If i go to a site and the content isn't good enough or informative i don't think i would visit it again. So, quality and unique content is very important for a site.

 

This shows how little you know. I could a huge number of backlinks, but without keyword optimised content I will have no search keywords.

Also the best links you can get are natural links, from people reading and link to you. Therefore the content has to be good for someone to want to do that.

 

Ya you're right,now google banning sites which have tons of backlinks without content.

 

Content is king because SEO exists for search engines and search engines exists for contents. Without content, no search engine traffic and without traffic. no money.

You can't do business online without content. Content is the first thing that you potential customers are looking for. through you content, they will learn to trust you. When they trust you, then you can then talk about selling and they will buy.
