Why can't we edit our titles?

    Alright,

I've come upon this problem a couple times . . . sometimes you misspell the title or other times like a thread that's currently going on a $300 design contest is really $30 but the user can't change anything.

Why aren't we allowed to edit our thread titles? Can this be enabled?

I think mods have the power to do that.

You can't edit titles for the same reason you can't edit threads after eight hours. If you post a service for one price and were allowed to edit and change price it could lead to problems.

    Mods can edit thread titles.

You can, but you have to do it within 5 minutes.

I see. So I guess the best thing to do if make sure you posted the correct title within 5 minutes of the creation of the thread. :D
