Why can't we disclose AdSense stats?

Hello, do you have an idea why Adsense's TOS says that we are not allowed to disclose precise stats taken from Adsense? The only thing we are allowed to disclose is our gross earnings, like how much we earn per month or per day. But they say that we can't disclose CPC, CTR, CPM informations.

    Why is that?

Hi, we can't disclose adsense stats because its against there TOS. I think they don't want to reveal the fact that which keywords are highly payable.

The ToS can say whatever they feel like it. You agreed to it when you joined the program. It's not up to us to decide what AdSense wants to do. Go talk to them.

I'm asking WHY they've decided to not allow this. I'm not expecting you to be in the known, but simply to tell your opinion about it, if you want only, you don't have to.
I don't need you to tell me that it's forbidden because it's forbidden, keep that for others, thanks.

@ankit.kaul.m: maybe they don't want us to share which niches are good paying, but on the other hand they provide the Adwords Keyword Tool which gives us about the same information, only less precise than if we could discuss freely about our own stats between adsense publishers.

I would imagine because they don't want somebody to monopolize the keywords that are most popular. And I think Google would ultimately lose a lot of money, so that's probably the main reason.

yes it's possible they just don't want publishers to communicate efficiently.
