Why can't users delete their own posts?

    Was wondering why users cannot delete their own posts if they choose. Thanks.

    Then the prevalent or previous posts wouldn't make sense, would they?

    You can edit your post for a certain amount of time and then that's it. If you don't want it to remain on the forum, don't post it.

    A lot of people don't want to have their sites indexed here so they just post an image that they can take down or change later with the url on it.
