I have been trying to post in the website review section but it says I don't have permission. Do you have to be a special member or something?
You are required to have atleast 10 posts for the review forum http://forums.digitalpoint.com/faq.php?faq=dp_faq#faq_posting_guidelines
Ahh thanks a ton. would have saved some time earlier when I was trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I'm no newbie to forums so I was about to pull my hair out. thanks Josh
hehe You might be interested to know you can post your signature URL as well now that you have 10 posts Welcome to Digital Point
You could also look at the link saying FAQ/Rules. Not sure if it shows in Chinese on your box but to me it would imply that behind that link one could find possibly something like a FAQ (Frquently Asked Questions, often accompanied by Frequently Given Answers (so frequent that the moderator got annoyed and gave it its own entry in the FAQ)) and perhaps... err... some forum rules. For everything that isn't explained there, you can join the AA here in the UK coz they want you to 'Just AAsk'.
No. (Did have some scary dreams though) Just helping the newbies. The subject of this thread is excellent so it will come up when in future people search on this subject. Hence it deserving an elaborate answer including a post 'gently' reminding them of the FAQ/Rules link. It always amazes me how everyone knows how to search google but are then more inclined to ask instead of searching the forum / browsing the FAQ. No hard feelings...
hehe. I must admit to that 1 as well. If everyone used the search then the most interesting subjects would never come up on the list of 5 topics when you are using the free tools though. It's probably best to get a happy medium.
I have this bad habbit of not reading directions, rules, restrictions, keep out signs, speed limits, or anything else that may keep me out of trouble or safe. LOL
True. And I have to admit that the VB search sucks. Try any short word and it will discard it. Even PHP will be excluded. Anyway. Welcome to the forum Clubtitan!
Ahh call me Josh or my Nickname M4ck. Clubtitan is just the site. Thought it would be good to use that for my name here. Since thats why I joined in the first place. M4ck
Hey M4ck, looking at your sig it reminded me of that 4 year old case that still hasn't awarded nissan the site they always wanted http://www.nissan.com/ Cool stuff!
he beat Nissan in the law suit, that is amazing. I think he is so pissed at Nissan, he just enjoys to have the name, whether it makes him money or not.
