Thanks for bringing that up Mike. ;) Yes, I resurrected it, but only because I wanted to find out more about the new SMTP servers... the fact that it was hijacked into a Nintendo thread... *shudders* well I apologize profusely!!!

It doesnt take that much effort to make some quality posts in the General section. Just start a few threads about things that interest you. I'm sure you won't find it too difficult to write maybe 50 - 100 words on a topic of your choice. Once this gets going you won't even notice the fact you've already reached the 25 posts needed to write in the section you were looking to write in from the beginning.

Posting 4 or 5 words in every thread you can find just aggrivates all the regular members as they have to sift through all the posts to get to the people who are actually making interesting posts.

Like T0PS said start by introducing yourself in the Introductions section telling everyone a bit about yourself and more often than not there will be someone here that lives round the corner from you and you'll start chatting away ;)

Digital Point isn't a place where rules are heavily laid on the members but generally the members prefer quality posts to be made rather than quantity posts. :)
