Not sure but I suspect it is more a browser problem since I was just in it.

Try Internet Explorer and see if the problem surface. Remember to clear your cache too.

Browser problem try logging in at a different computer at your libary or something. If paypal didnt work for 3 days and its thier problem you can see a buncha whiny people complaining everywhere.
Also clear your cookies temp internet files cache. Sometimes helps

Your password might have been hacked?

Your host file might be "dirty".

Get the pc tools software to clean your computer

If it still hapens then i'd email paypal, but paypal are notorius for people trying to hack their system. ;)

Actually if you type your password wrongly, you will be prompted that you enter a wrong password.

Yes exactly the password was correct, it showed the logging in part, but then nothing.

Is it the latest version of firefox?

It could be Firefox. The first few versions were good but it has gone really bad for me and I am back to IE.

It could just be an issue of your firefox cache which is causing the issue. try clearing it all and try again.

It's just Firefox, happens a lot of times with me too :) But I don't trust my IE with all the shit going about it, so I tend to use Opera as an alternative.

Paypal is fine for me on Firefox. Delete cookies and such and then refresh.
