I recently changed the theme of my blog, since changing it statcounter a live statcounter stopped pcking up visits, I tried the official wordpress one and that has failed to pick up visits. Google analytics and google adsense still pick up hits and impressions however. I want something that updates reguraly, and all the ones I have tried dont work with my new theme. Try using an independent, flash based counter like HiStats. I am sure that will work. If you are using wp-cache something similar then the usual stats plugin doesn't work anymore.
