Why cant google do this?

I check BL external to my domain and yahoo and MSN do great and show a decent number but google cant do it and finds none.

I know google shows BL differently but this is a joke of none.

Is this a broken google or a regular problem and if it were showing a result I would guess my SERPS would change, right?

It's not a matter of 'can they do it' but 'do they want to do it'. Looks ot me like they are protecting valuable IP by not giving full access to the core of their algorithms.

Centuries ago... well more like before the Florida update... google was showing all backlinks that was PR4 or more. Since this was excellent for us guys to find the good links, they changed that and show less links, more internal links, and the external are often low PR or cheaper pages.

Why would google give us a tool to find the competition's good links and a way to go and get the same ones for yourself to better beat them in the serps...

It's the case, Google does not like piece of cake strategies for webmasters by giving out all the info of all the links to a website.

Nice question, but all of us believe that it is very rare for Google to view more BLs than other search engines.
