Why cant co op weight be based on MSN stats?

Its very evident that the new MSN is indexing pages and backlinks much quicker than what Google is.

Why can't the co op network base weight on MSN's stats instead?

That would make sense because if google ever stops caching co-oped pages then the whole network could come down.

With Google being so slow with indexing new pages it would seem obvious to me to base weight on stats which are much more up-to-date.

Yes, but, does MSN allows this? Does MSN gives you an API key to freely use their search engine?

If it doesn't than DP would be banned because of the massive ammount of requests without beeing allowed to that...

The "obvious" thing you are missing is that the MSNs results would be just as high for everyone else, but adding in all of the spam and BS they haven't filtered out. Expecting to use a beta search engine over google would be.... I can't think of a polite way to say it.

Can't say that I agree. With the MSN bot being ALOT more active in indexing new pages, using the stats would give a more accurate representation of your real weight. There are many using the co-op (including myself) who have next to no weight due to Google's crap indexing.

Yeah, but we're not talking about spam either, which would be filtered out by G

    No. I'm 100% serious.

I think 90% of the members would agree too.

    No, I'm not saying that...

What I am saying however, is that It's got a lot less spam in it than the new MSN...

    Do you disagree?

No I agree with you. But how is this a valid point when sites are human reviewed in the co-op network?

Because not every page of a 20,000 page site can be reviewed.

True... but you get a pretty good feel for a spammy site from the onset.
