Why can't AOL find my site?

As some sites said, AOL takes its result from Google. My site is shown on Google, but I can't find it on AOL. What's the problem? Thanks.

Why would you want to be shown in aol? Does anybody even use aol anymore?

But anyways from my understanding aol is more on page optimization where google has a lot to do with links.

AOL is Google - optimize for Google and you will be optimized for AOL. Also AOL still has 3% marketshare which equates to millions and millions of search traffic - just an FYI

Bradlands07, do you believe that we must optimize our sites for aol too? Do you have any suggestions for doing so?

No, you do not need to optimize your site(s) for AOL specifically.

I have always found that if you are listed in google, other search engines find you pretty quickly. If you have a lot of backlinks to your site this will make AOL find you even faster.

Yes, of course google is the biggest search engine and other are just children so if your site rank for the first one then other SE will follow their father as well.

You are not correct - AOL is not a search engine anymore, it is basically Google with an AOL logo on it. They use 100% of the Google results (unless someone turned off their ad for search partners on Google AdWords, then that ad would appear on Google, but not AOL). They are basically the same.

Didn't even realize that AOL still had a search engine.
