Seriously, I don't get why their banners are all CPM. CPM banners are only good for people with HUGE amount of traffic, if they made banners CPC, many publishers would be earning more, since banners have a much higher CTR compared to text ads. I've realized that they started giving advertisers the option to pay-per-click instead of CPM, but they should do it, that publishers have the option of showing only CPC banners. I'm also referring to their ugly sister blacklabelads What do you guys think?
I do agree that banners should be CPC in general - but I don't agree that banners convert better compared to contextual ads (at least with adsense - I tried both on different channels with some high-traffic sites, the channel that only used contextual ads has much higher CTR)
i don't reallY earn much w/ adbrite. Adsense also sucks since they are banning members w/o much reason.
I agree with you when they would offer ppc and cpm for banners, they would get lots of new advertisers and publishers would be happy with them. But someday AdBrite pay offer that, we never know.
