Google updates the pagerank continuously, right ? What reasons does it have to only update it fr us ever 3 months ?
A better question to ask is why Google should even show you what they do. What other search engines expose even a small part of how they rank sites? Yahoo was going to, but then decided not to: http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/000238.html
I think that was a clever way for Yahoo to get people to download the toolbar and they never were planning on ever adding that function.
i think you`re right, even i didn`t understand all the replies what i understand: you get bored of something you always have and it`s better something you have to wait long for
The sooner Google do away with public facing page rank the better IMO. Then we can get back to linking for traffic and the quality of the site, rather than that dumbass green bar
The only use is to see that you are not linking to a penalised domain. Even that matters less these days I think. They rather take the good links and discard the bad ones.
there are LOADS of ways to check if a domain is banned or not, and the TB is not the best rule of thumb
