Why Bloggers Sell Ad Space?

Hello,

I have noticed that almost all famous blogs are selling their ad space especially the 125 X 125 Banner. And people buy those links and place some affiliate banners. But why are they selling? Why cant they put their own affiliate banners instead? Is it for Guaranteed Monthly Income? What do you say?

Even the not so famous do this and this is a sure way of earning money so why not...

Just put an "Advertise here" banner on your blog.. and it must redirect to to your ad sales page of ur blog and there you can put some informationa about ur blog.. number of visitors, rss readers... e.t.c.

 

Good advertisements also give your blog credibility.

Head over to the buy sell trade section. Obviously the price of the ad will depend of how many visitors and relevant your content is.

A extremely high volume established site can easily get up to $300 per month if not more per 125 x 125 space, although a new blog with lower traffic can expect to see around $10 a month.

this is just a guesstimate on my end.

 

what abt the blog of 160 unique visitors and 500 page view

 

I would say about $5-$15 depending on the visitor loyalty and blog design.
