Why blending text ads with the content is OK , but putting ads close to images is not with Google TOS? Google says the images may be associated or confused with the ads. I say that it does the very same thing when you blend the ads with the text. Don't you think it is kind of a strange logic by Google, or am I missing something? thanks
It is all kind of strange logic, but it is how it is. And IMO it is pretty difficult to set rules to be logic for all.
The text is what Google uses to base which ads appear. The problem they were having is the image often had nothing to do with the subject of the ad... hence people's expectations were skewed by the image.
As long as the images are separated by a border e.g http://www.indigosociety.com footer page, then it is okay.
Take a look at http://www.writersbeat.com - Look at the top banner, it's blended in to the page background.
blending means nice designed adsense ads similar to their website ... blending ads are very useful to increase ctr
Blending the ads with the text makes the user think he/she is browsing the site he is visiting. He doesn't know he clicks on ads antil he clicks and a new web site opens. He gets tricked a bit. This makes the CTR much higher and more money for the publisher.
How do they smart price you? How much they'll pay you for 1 click let's say they paid you $0.50? thaks
