Thats exactly it. How many do you know that are more than happy to say what their bank balance is? Never mind sharing with strangers.

This is from paragraph seven of the AdSense TOS:
But you are not required to publicly disclose, I don't.

That's true, this is a private issue, and most people don't like to talk about this in public, and above all, this may relate to tax issue.

How would it relate to a tax issue? In the US, Google already sends all your earning info to the IRS, not sure what other issue could arise beyond that.

Mystery is more valuable, more intriguing, more enticing than disclosure. Being discreet draws people to you, boasting drives them away.

because a bunch of people will post / pm asking how you do it expecting some type of instruction, like this forum isn't enough to make a buck.

    Perhaps its a private stuff.
What if somebody comes and ask you that please tellme your Girlfriend's name i know that she is too hot and i am eager to know her name!?

You won't tell him your Girlfriend's name instantly in a public place.

So with this in mind,Adsense earnings also goes the same way.If the publisher likes to share his income and want to give out some tips then he is mostly welcome by everyone.
And if he dont, Everyone thinks that he is not kind but actually, He donot want to reveal his earnings infront of everyone! :)

So i just think that donot try to insist anybody on revealing their source of earnings, Instead of this try using Google itself and search for Adsense tips and tricks.
Maybe this helps ya out! ;)

No matter if you are earning big or small you still shouldn't mention how much you are earning. I have never mentioned how much I earn even when I started all this site stuff and was earning pennies.

    What you earn is private.
