This is also happening to me in that my secondary sites are overtaking my main site using it's search terms... kind of strange but I guess if they're all my sites it's not too big a deal.

Since the latest Yahoo update, many ups and downs are reported and Yahoo mainly has shown more interest on Offsite optimization factors since then.

What is going on is right!

I am dropping in Yahoo like a single engine plane that just lost an engine!

Funny thing is a just got a huge jump up in Google just prior.

Something is definetly going on with Yahoo - and I don't like it.
We should be able to figure it out here - for those of you who have taken a hit is your site listed in directories other that Yahoo and other big ones?
Maybe they are knocking us down becasue scrapper sites have got links to ours? Other ideas?

Ok - I got pm'ed with the suggestion that being in yahoo site explorer might be a factor - I deleted the site and now I have regained my rankings over night - just coincidence - maybe but I I will be staying away from yahoo site explorer for now

I believe this to be true. All my sites that are NOT in Site Explorer with site maps, rank substantially higher in Yahoo that those with sitemaps in Site Explorer.

I have just deleted the one site I had in there and will report back the changes if any, and how long it takes to notice them.

Don't you have to use site explorer to submit site maps with Yahoo?

It gives you the date of the last time each page of your site was crawled. Very nice for seeing if Yahoo has your site indexed properly or not.
