Why bid then not pay?

Why do people bid on sites or domains then not pay up? Did they die or something?

Twice in three weeks I have attempted to sell items through this site and two bids have gone unpaid. How often does this happen and what are the best free places to sell items?

I know using a free service is never going to be the best option but some sites charge stupid prices, if I'm selling a domain for $1 I don't want to have to pay $20 to be able to do that.

Pardon me, but what are you getting for selling a domain at $1 ?
Don't forget that Paypal or any payment method will charge you.

Small sales have to be in free listings, otherwise, just quit this small sales, this is just like in real life, a customer decided not to buy this in the last second, you've got to be cool with this:)

First of all it's sad that you had not been paid by the bidding members. I want to tell you something that Internet is perhaps a very strange place to sell items and buy items for that matter. sometimes it works well and sometimes it doesn't. therefore the best way would be to analyze and continue trying, stick to basics and make changes where necessary.

You could always try saying, people with itrader over (da da da) or post counts of a specific amount...it won't stop the problem altogether but might help lessen it?...just a thought :)
