Why BACKLINKS also fluctuate.??

    Why does it happens that some times even if we are constantly making new links but our backlinks decreases or fluctuates ?

    like some day my backlinks are 8200 and the very next day they come back to 7800 or so....

    Is there any reliable backlink checker tool available ?

    Yahoo shows more links that Google (they decide to show only a part of them). Just type the linkdomain:www.domain.com on Yahoo and you will see more than on G.

    Google does not show your full link profile at any time, this may be deliberate

    Furthermore, a link can only be recognised by google if the page has been indexed and cached after your link went live, so if you get links on pages that don't get indexed, ,,,,,

    One of the reasons backlinks can flactutae is because peges they are linked might bdropped off indexed pages.
