General Information regarding page rank and back links

The first thing that should be understood is the way Link Back can make your site be in the top 10 search results in Google's search engine. Due to the fact that there are a multitude of websites with a similar density of keywords, Google will select the web pages according to their page rank. The page rank of a website is given by the number of back-links it receives. From here we draw the conclusion that a rise in the number of back-links will increase our page rank and therefore a better position in Google's search engine. But what is a back-link? Any link pointing from one website to another is considered by Google as a recommendation for the target website, so the more recommendations (back-links) you have the more important your website will become for Google and thus your website will be noted with a bigger page rank.

In the last two years the attitude of search engines regarding indexed pages has changer radically- from the appearance of sandboxes to the reassessing of back-links. From here derived the necessity of knowing exactly what needs to be done in order to catch a better place in the top when speaking of search engines. This website ( Link Back WEB DIRECTORY ) appeared due to these new changes and we hope that it will help you for FREE to obtain a better position related to search engines.

Back-Links and Google Page Rank short introduction

Why Google, why page rank, why back-links, why web directory? The answer is very simple: with millions of sites available for any kind of information/services/ products etc. appeared the problem of choice and efficiency from here the growth in utilization of search engines. Obviously an algorithm was needed in order to provide the user results that would be as close as possible to his search, without the necessity of looking at thousands of web pages that contain the words specified in the search engine. Therefore Google took on the "page rank" method. Everybody knows it and there are millions of webpage about the so called calculation formula of the page rank, in which back-links are the only factor that determine the page rank of a web page.

    The formula is PR(A)=(1-d) + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) + ... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn))

-PR()= Page Rank of a webpage; example PR(Index.php) is the rank for the Index.php web page.

-T1.....Tn= all the pages considered by Google as back-links to your web page

-C()= the number of links that point out from the pages considered by Google as back links to your web page

-d= correction ratio with a positive value between 0 and 1, used by Google for corrections on the page-rank. In free translation this means that the more back-links that point to our web page and the higher the rank of the pages that contain the back links to our web page, the higher rank our web page will obtain.

It seems pretty simple ...but it's not quite as it seems. It's just like the definition of the back link "Back Link = a Link in one direction implied from the existence of an explicit link in the other direction"....something abstract and pretty confusing.

Let's take things one by one and just see what should be done in order to appear in a better position in search engines.
