Why Avg. visit duration data is incorrect in google analytics?

I made a search in google.com for one of the keywords for which my site is 2nd page in google. After doing the google search for that keyword I went to 2nd page and clicked my site. I spent more than 1 min on my site. Then I checked google analytics and it shows time spent as 00:00:00 for that particular keyword using which I visited my website and spent more than 1 min. Why google analytics showing wrong data? Does anyone has any idea?

I would take some stats at face value - It could be the stats haven't updated?
