When I check the backlinks for my sites. I found that my article submission won't be shown as backlinks very often. Most of the backlink result are those one way links that I purchase. (Sometime I received emails that people selling high PR link for certain money each). I am wondering if article submission is not as good as buying the one way links... I bought those one way links very expensive comparing the article submission. Not sure if it is worthy. Please advice. Actually, the social site bookmarking also not show up as backlinks at all. Is it no use for SEO? What is the best technique for SEO? Any suggestion? Will it hurt to buy those high PR links? Thanks, Joe
Article Submission is a great thing to do, as long as you submit your articles to a top-notch article directory like ezinearticles.com. I find that when I submit an article to them it gets indexed and cached (by google) within 24hours, sometimes much quicker. Google loves article directories like ezinearticles because they are always turning out new quality unique content. Keep with the article submissions, remember only one article per directory, duplicate content can be penalized. Social Site Bookmarking isn't worth the effort in my opinion, unless you are doing it effectively and efficiently. The main goal behind social networking is to 'Get Noticed' by people who might be interested in your Site/Product/Service. By effectively running a social networking campaign you could easily get the quality visitors you're looking for. But as for backlinks, they aren't worth much, it's more about the Targeted User you're attracting. For SEO it all depends on what types of visitors you're trying to attract, how competitive the market is, and how well you do your marketing. I wouldn't buy links (of any PR) that aren't from quality sites. A high traffic PR3 site could potentially be much better for you than a PR6 site, if the PR3 site has more visitors, better content, and relates directly to your site. Hope this helps.
Thanks for your reply I am wondering if your ezinearticles article would become google backlinks. Thanks, Joe
Yes, ezinearticles allows up to 2 links per article at the end of the article, once google indexes and caches the article those links will be counted as backlinks. Don't concentrate on just Bing, Google, or Yahoo, don't stress over backlinks if they haven't been 'found' yet, it takes time.
article marketing or article links is an effective way on getting backlinks but it depends on the article sites that you submit.
I subscribe the service http://www.submitedge.com/article-submission-service.html ($175) ... Is it ok? or it just submit to too many article sites with the same article. Will it hurt my site?
Unless they "spin" your article (changing up words/phrases to make each article unique) their service is a waste of money. The first site that has the article on it that google notices will get the credit. Sure the other sites that host the article will still get indexed and cached but the backlinks that the article (on the other sites) has won't be worth much if anything at all. *edit* So, for $175 you're getting: 5 Articles submitted to 500 article directories. There are really only maybe 5 or so top article directories that are worth submitting to (IMHO), next time just get yourself a free ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com account and use the $175 to get yourself a bunch of unique articles. You can find people here offering 300+ word articles starting at about $3 per article. Remember you get what you pay for and to always see sample of their writing before hiring freelance writers. For $175 I would have paid $5/article and gotten 35 articles, I would then submit them all to ezinearticles.com Then I would have paid someone to 'spin' the articles, about $1-2 per article and gotten up to 5 usable variations (content that reads smoothly and doesn't 'sound weird') I would then submit those articles (135 total unique articles [35 x 5]) to the 'second-rate' directories. So in total you'd have 210 articles with 2 links per article.
here on DP in the services section... some of the writers even guarantee that the articles will be accepted in ezine. I personally use only people who provide guarantee and it costs about $4 here.
